    Perspectives of Artificial Intelligence Use in Digital Libraries

    The article describes different aspects of AI impact on information technology. Examples of practical applications of AI methods are discussed. Author's personal attitude towards use of AI based systems in library practice is presented. Limitations of human-computer interface can become sort of threshold for broadening implementations of AI in uncertain problems such as scientific research, marketing or education. New approach on human-computer interactions based on bio-feedback is proposed. Opinion is stated that optimistic dreams of cybernetics founders come true, as brainputer appear on the information market. Also potential threats of AI misuse in education are discussed. Computer based AI systems can improve human creativity in case they are used as a means of objective reality cognition.
