On 12 June 2014, Tatiana Ershova shared Russia's experience and her own evaluations of the information society monitoring system in Russia at the High-level Dialogue on Monitoring the Information Society organized by the Partnership on Measuring ICT for Development. Yuri Hohlov chaired the Open Government at the Facilitation Meeting on Implementing WSIS Outcomes related to Action Lines C1, C7eGov, and C11 and made a presentation. 
The WSIS+10 High-Level Event opens in Geneva
WSIS 10 High-Level Event, Opening SessionThis event is an extended version of the WSIS Forum. It is coordinated by ITU and co-organized by ITU, UNESCO, UNCTAD and UNDP.  It is designed to review the progress made in the implementation of the WSIS outcomes and to take stock of achievements in the last 10 years in the field of information society development. IIS leaders Tatiana Ershova and Yuri Hohlov are participating in WSIS+10 High-Level Event activities.
The second issue of the "Information Society" journal for 2014 was published
The topics of the issue are: the peculiarities of the Internet, the imperatives of the information policy, gaming as a socio-cultural phenomenon, counteraction to misuse of insider information, media and socialization of young adults, measuring efficiency of information society development and others.
IIS representatives participated in the Round Table Paths of the Information Society Development, which took place at the Moscow State University of Economics, Statistics and Informatics (MESI)

social and economic development, ICT as a potential mean for strengthening of peace and conflict prevention, problems of implementation of outcomes of the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) at national, regional and international levels, ICT for consolidation of rights and expanding peoples capabilities, social communications in the context of information society and many others.  
IIS Representatives took part in the Microsoft Day of Non-Commercial Organizations
Igor DenisovOn April 24, 2014 IT Academy in Moscow hosted the Microsoft Day of Non-Commercial Organizations  the event was attended by around 60 representatives of NCOs from different regions of Russia. On behalf of IIS the infoDonor program was presented the program of assistance to non-commercial organizations, which allows NCOs to receive access to software donation programs of known world leaders - Microsoft and iSpring Solutions.
On April 16-17, 2014 representative of infoDonor program took part in the First Forum of socially oriented non-commercial organizations of the Republic of Bashkortostan Bashkortostan Territory of Accord and Development
Bashkortostan  Territory of Accord and DevelopmentThe Forum gathered non-commercial organizations participating in charity projects and providing assistance to different population segments: orphans, disabled and aged people. The Forum was organized by the Public Fund of Ufa city Development and the Ministry of Labor and Social Security of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
