Was born in 1980 in the town of Zhukovsky, Moscow region. Has been living in Korolev (former Kaliningrad), Moscow region, since 5 years old.
Her professional biography is connected with three organizations: the Russian State Library (formerly the USSR State Library named after Lenin), where she served readers in Reading Hall 3 (1997-1998); Russian State Art Library, where she worked in the newspapers division (1998-1999) and the Institute of the Information Society (IIS), where she started as a Librarian, and later developed her managerial career (1999-present).
Now Alexandra is managing several R&D projects at IIS and has been recently nominated program manager for infoDonor – a nation-wide program, which assists non-commercial organizations by offering access to the software and hardware donation programs of a number of international donor partners like Microsoft, Cisco, HP, Adobe, etc. She helps these organizations to make the most of their ICT purchases and infrastructure.
Alexandra Kapustina is married and has two children – a six-year old daughter and a four-year old son. Loves cats, cinema and long walks.
